Airlift is a reusable magnetic clip that holds your nostrils open from the outside. Skin-safe stickers sit on the outside of each nostril, each holding a thin steel disc, and the clip rests across the front of your nose and pulls those discs gently outward. Nothing goes inside your nose. It is for anyone who wants easier airflow through the nose at night or during exercise. It is a general wellness product, not a medical device.

We do not claim Airlift stops snoring, and you should be wary of anyone who tells you their product does. Snoring starts in different places for different people, and a good deal of it comes from the throat and soft palate, where nothing worn on the nose can reach.

What Airlift does is narrow and mechanical. It holds the nasal valve open, which is the tightest point in the airway for most people. If your nose is the part that blocks up, or you wake with a dry mouth because you spent the night breathing through it, that is the part Airlift is working on.

Partly, and it is worth being straight about which part. Airlift opens the nasal valve, the soft outer section of your nose that narrows on a hard inhale. It works from the outside and it cannot shrink swollen tissue or clear mucus on the inside. So during a heavy cold, or when allergies have your nose properly inflamed, you will feel less benefit than usual, because the blockage is somewhere the clip cannot reach.

On an ordinary night the valve is the tightest point in most people's airway, which is exactly where Airlift works. The 90 nights exist so you can find out how much of your congestion lives at the valve and how much lives deeper in.

It might, and people with deviated septums are some of the most enthusiastic wearers of this type of product, because a narrowed side of the nose feels the extra opening most. But a septum is an internal structure, and Airlift works on the external nasal valve. If your blockage is mostly structural and deep inside, no external product can move it, and that is a conversation for a doctor rather than a clip.

The honest answer is that nobody can tell you from a description which case you are. Your face can, in one night, and you have 90 of them.

Often, yes. Nostrils narrow more than people expect on a hard inhale and when you lie down, and that happens whether or not you feel blocked. Most people notice it in two places: sleep that settles more quickly, and breathing that stays through the nose for longer when training hard.

A strip sticks across the bridge of your nose and pulls the skin outward from a single point. It loosens as the adhesive warms up, it tends to give way on a strong inhale, and it goes in the bin every morning.

The airflow difference is there on the first wear, as soon as the clip is on. You do not have to guess before you buy. Every kit contains all five sizes, XS to XL. Try one, and keep the one that feels secure without you noticing it after a couple of minutes. Most people settle on a medium. Keep the neighbouring size on your nightstand, because a blocked nose and a clear one sometimes want different sizes.

Because sizing a nose from a chart does not work, and we would rather you had the right one on night one. It also means there is no size to choose at checkout and no separate charge for getting it wrong.

For sleep, go up. Comfort matters more than maximum opening, and the size you forget about is the one you will keep wearing. For exercise, go down to your snuggest comfortable size, because movement and sweat reward a firmer hold.

Two adjustments fix almost every case. Reposition it slightly lower, so it sits across the soft part above your nostrils rather than on the bony bridge. If it still presses, go up a size. Check your stickers are level with each other too, because a crooked pair tilts the clip upward.

Losing a clip is more common than breaking one. It is small, and bedding eats small things. The storage case gives it and your spare sizes one home, and if you are on an Annual plan, Lost Clip Cover replaces one lost clip a year free.

Start with clean, dry skin. Wipe each nostril area with a cleansing prep pad, or with soap and water, and let it dry fully.

Peel one sticker from the backing and place it on the outside of your nostril, using the magnetic applicator to position it. Repeat on the other side, keeping the pair level with each other.

Press each sticker for a few seconds. Do not skip this. Warmth and pressure are what make the adhesive bond, and most sticking problems come from placing a sticker and moving straight on.

Attach the clip across the front of your nose, letting the magnets find the discs. It should lift your nostrils noticeably without pinching. If it pinches, go up a size.

No, but it earns its place in the box. The applicator holds each sticker magnetically while you position it, so you can see exactly where it is going and press it on level without your fingertip covering it. If your hands are unsteady, or fiddly jobs at close range are a struggle, it turns application from a fiddle into a one-second placement.

Plenty of people place the stickers with their fingers and never touch it. Both routes end the same way: a level pair, pressed on firmly, on clean dry skin.

Usually, yes. The stickers sit on the outside of each nostril, above where most beards grow and to the side of a moustache, so a beard on its own is rarely the problem.

The problem is hair directly under the sticker, because adhesive bonds to hair instead of skin and the hold suffers. If your stubble runs high up beside your nostrils, the fix is a small one: keep that patch, roughly the size of the sticker, trimmed close. You do not need to shave anything visible.

If your beard genuinely covers the sticker area and trimming it is not on the table, be honest with yourself that adhesion will be a fight, and let the 90-Night Airlift Test settle it.

Almost always this is the skin, not the sticker. Night cream, moisturiser, facial oil and naturally oily skin all beat the adhesive. So does heavy stubble right where the sticker sits, because the sticker bonds to hair rather than skin.

The fix is the same in every case: clean the area, dry it fully, then press for a few seconds after placing. Cleansing prep pads are sold for this and are included from the Complete system upward.

Usually, yes. The clip holds the stickers magnetically from the side, so ordinary turning and settling does not disturb it, and side sleeping is fine for most people from night one.

The hard case is a face planted firmly in the pillow, because sustained direct pressure can knock the clip off the discs. If that is you, two things help: go down to your snuggest comfortable size, since a firmer hold survives contact better, and check the clip is sitting low across the soft part of your nose rather than up on the bridge, where the pillow reaches it first. If you sleep face down all night every night, you are the toughest test this product gets. You have 90 nights to run it.

If the clip comes off, the stickers usually stay put, and the clip is on the pillow or in the bed rather than gone. Reattaching takes a second.

Sport is what the snugger sizes are for. Go down to your firmest comfortable size, apply to clean, dry skin, and the hold survives sweat and movement well; the magnets grip from the side, so there is no strip to curl and peel as you warm up. Passive nasal dilators are also permitted in competition. They are equipment, not a substance, and they appear on no prohibited list.

Sweat on the skin before application is the enemy, not sweat during the session. Wipe and dry the area first, especially before training.

Showering and swimming are different: prolonged soaking softens the adhesive, so take it off before either. A splash of rain or a sweaty session is fine. A swim is not.

One pair per night. The stickers are single use, so a month is 30 pairs, which is 60 stickers. Reusing a pair does not work well: the adhesive picks up skin oil on the first wear and holds noticeably less on the second. A properly applied pair on clean, dry skin is made to hold through a full night's sleep.

Slowly. Take the clip off first, then peel each sticker from its top edge downward, low and slow, supporting the skin with a finger of your other hand. Never rip it off like a plaster.

The easiest time to remove them is after washing your face or in the shower, because warm water softens the adhesive and it lets go without a fight. If any residue is left behind, warm water and a little soap takes it off; you do not need anything stronger.

If your skin is pink for a few minutes afterward, that is normal and fades. If it is sore, broken, or still red hours later, give that spot a night off and see the skin guidance below.

The sticker body is a thin, stretchy film, and the adhesive is the standard skin adhesive used on plasters and medical tape, [LATEX STATUS: awaiting written confirmation from the supplier]. The disc inside each sticker is plain steel, and it rests against your skin rather than being sealed away from it. If metal jewellery brings you out in a rash, patch test before wearing a pair overnight. The only magnets are in the clip and the applicator, and neither of those touches your skin; the clip grips the discs through the stickers.

Most people wear Airlift nightly without any reaction. If you are prone to skin sensitivities, patch test first: wear a single sticker behind your ear or on your inner forearm for a few hours before the first night on your nose. Do not apply stickers to broken or irritated skin, and if irritation continues, stop using it and email us. That is also exactly what the 90-Night Airlift Test is for.

Wipe it with a prep pad, or with mild soap and water, and let it dry fully before putting it away. The storage case keeps it and your spare sizes together. Do not try to bend the clip to adjust the fit. It is rigid by design, and changing sizes is how you change the fit.

Sealed, cool and dry. Adhesive slowly loses its grip in warm, humid air, and the steamiest room in the house is the bathroom, which is exactly where most people keep them. Reseal the pouch after each pair and keep it in the bedroom instead, out of direct sun. Stored like that, your refills will hold on their last night the way they did on their first.

A light awareness of the clip for the first few minutes is normal and usually fades. Pinching, pressure on the bridge, or soreness in the morning is not. Go up a size, and reposition the clip slightly lower on your nose.

Do not apply the stickers to broken or irritated skin. If irritation or discomfort continues, stop using it and email us.

No, it will not make your nose bigger, wider, or a different shape. Airlift holds your nostrils open only while you have it on, and the effect stops the moment you take it off. It does not stretch, widen or reshape anything, and there is nothing cumulative about it.

The lift works on the soft tissue at the sides of your nostrils. It is not pulling on bone or on the cartilage that gives your nose its shape.

That reaction is the clearest sign there is that the nose, not the mouth, is the thing to sort out first. Tape only closes your lips. It does nothing to open your nose, so if your nose is the bottleneck, taping over your mouth feels like being smothered.

Airlift works on the other end of the same problem. Open the nasal valve first and tape stops feeling like a fight, because the air has somewhere to go.

Mouth tape comes with the Ultimate system and can be added to any order. It is optional either way, and plenty of people wear the clip on its own and never tape at all.

Often, yes, depending on your mask. With nasal pillows and most nasal masks the clip sits below and outside where the cushion seals, so the two do not fight. With a full-face mask it depends on where your mask's edge lands; some sit clear of the clip and some press on it, and only trying it tells you which you have.

Airlift is not a treatment for anything and it is not a substitute for therapy a doctor has prescribed. It only holds your nostrils open. If you use CPAP, keep using it exactly as prescribed, and treat the clip as a comfort question, one the 90 nights will answer.

The disc inside each sticker is plain steel, not a magnet. The only magnets are in the clip and the applicator. The steel discs are recyclable once separated from the sticker, and the sticker body is made from recycled material. The clip is reusable for years, so it is the part that never goes in the bin.

Everything is self-serve from your account. You can skip a delivery, pause the plan, change your system or colour, change how often it ships, add a one-off item, or cancel. There are no calls and no forms.

Your dispatch email carries a live tracking link, which is the fastest way to see where a parcel is. Delivery is 1 to 2 working days from dispatch. If the tracking has not moved and you are past that window, email us with your order number.

Check the tracking link in your dispatch email first, because most delayed parcels are simply sitting at a depot. If it still has not arrived, email support@airliftbreathing.co.uk with your order number and we will chase the carrier and put it right. A delivery delay does not affect your statutory rights.

You are not paying to return an order that reached you damaged or wrong. That is on us.

This is separate from the 90-Night Airlift Test, which is for changing your mind about a product that arrived exactly as it should have. Your statutory rights are unaffected, including the short-term right to reject a faulty item within 30 days under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We ship within the United Kingdom only. Standard delivery is £5.00, and free on orders over £50. Express is £7.00 and aims for the next working day after dispatch. Every subscription order ships free on standard delivery, with no minimum spend. Estimated delivery is 1 to 2 working days from dispatch, which is an estimate rather than a guarantee.

We dispatch on working days. Orders placed before 6pm Monday to Friday, or before 11am on Saturday, go out the same day. Anything after the cutoff, on a Sunday, or on a public holiday goes out on the next working day.

Only before it is dispatched, and we cannot guarantee it, because orders often move quickly. Email us immediately with your order number and what needs to change. Once a parcel has left us we cannot redirect it, though the carrier's own tracking link sometimes lets you.

How the cover starts depends on what you bought. Ultimate orders include it automatically. On every other order it applies once you register your clip, which you need to do within 30 days of delivery.

It covers the clip, not stickers or other consumables, and it does not cover loss, accident or normal cosmetic wear. A lost clip is covered separately by Lost Clip Cover on Annual plans. Years, and no. The clip is solid rigid plastic with the magnets sealed inside, there are no moving parts and nothing to snap in normal use, and magnets of this type do not measurably weaken across years of ordinary wear. Nightly use, cleaning with a prep pad or soap and water, and living in the storage case is all normal life for it.

Cosmetic marks are normal wear. A clip that cracks, or whose magnets stop gripping the discs, is not, and that is a warranty matter: email us with your order number. Losing the clip is the more common fate than wearing it out, which is why the storage case exists, why spare sets are available, and why Annual plans carry Lost Clip Cover.

Airlift contains magnets. Keep the clip and applicator away from children under 14 and from pets. If a magnet is swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

Keep the clip at least 15cm from pacemakers and other implanted medical devices.

Remove Airlift before an MRI scan, and tell the radiographer you use a magnetic product if asked. Airport security is not a concern: the magnets are far too small to trigger anything, and you can fly with it, wear it on the plane, and pack it in either bag.

If you are prone to skin reactions, patch test before your first night: wear a single sticker behind your ear or on your inner forearm for a few hours first.

Do not apply stickers to broken or irritated skin. Stop using it if discomfort or irritation continues.

There is no reason it cannot be worn. Airlift is worn on the outside of the nose, nothing is ingested, nothing goes inside your nose, and it contains no medicines or active ingredients of any kind. Pregnancy congestion is real and miserable, and a purely mechanical product is exactly the category many people reach for during it.
