The Airlift Journal explains nasal breathing, snoring and sleep in plain English. It is published by Bonsai Brands Ltd, trading as Airlift, which makes and sells the Airlift nasal dilator. When an article mentions our products, it says so plainly.
How we source
Every statistic and research finding links to its source. Sources are numbered where they are used and listed in full at the end of the article, with a link to the original.
We use primary sources wherever they exist: peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews and guidance from bodies such as the NHS and NICE. We say how strong the evidence is, so one small study is described as one small study. If we cannot find a reliable source for a claim, we leave the claim out.
How articles are written and checked
Before an article is published, the person named in its byline reads it, checks every claim against its sources and approves it.
When an article shows "Reviewed by", a second person has checked it, and their role is shown with their name. Each article has a date by which we re-check its facts and sources.
The date at the top of an article is the date it was last updated. We change it only when the content has changed.
How we handle health claims
Airlift is a nasal dilator. It is not a medicine and not a treatment for any medical condition, and our articles never say or suggest that it is.
The Journal is general information, not medical advice. Where symptoms could point to something that needs care, we say so and suggest speaking to a pharmacist or GP.
Customer stories are real customers in their own words, shown with their permission and never edited. Individual experiences vary.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email support@airliftbreathing.co.uk with a link to the article. We will check it against the sources, correct the article if it is wrong and update its date.
